What we do for our community
Since the Dennery Credit Union is a community based co-operative, we have a responsibility not only to stimulate economic growth in our community but to attend to the social and educational needs of the community:
- We partner with sports clubs in the community to sponsor tournaments
- We facilitate spelling bee contests and debates among our youth.
- We operate a scholarship program for students successful at the Common Entrance Examination.
- We deliver hampers to the needy during the Christmas season.
What is your role as a member
- Provide the capital needs through the consistent saving
- Take loans
- Keep informed about the activities of the co-operative
- Attend Annual General meetings
- Volunteer to serve on the committees
- Bring in new members.
